About the Journal

Pléyade. Revista de Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to social sciences and the humanities, which encourages intellectual and academic discussions on political phenomena, considering issues related to political science, sociology, philosophy and cultural studies.

The abbreviation of its title is Pléyade, which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, captions, and bibliographic references.

Pléyade addresses an international scientific audience and receives contributions in the form of articles, book reviews, interviews and interventions, written in Spanish, English, or Portuguese.

The journal is published in July (January-June semester) and January (July-December semester), in printed and electronic versions, and is sponsored by the International Institute for Philosophy and Social Studies.

FOCUS AND SCOPE

Pléyade accepts scientific contributions in Spanish, English, or Portuguese. All published articles will be submitted to double-blind review. The journal encourages intellectual and academic discussion of political phenomena, from a variety of disciplines including political science, sociology, philosophy, and cultural studies. Original manuscripts and scientific results from research projects are welcome.

Pleyade is a biannual publication (July and January).
