Abstract
This paper aims to formulate some questions on the concept of biopolitics. Hence it has an indexical, preliminary, and hypothetical character. Its purpose is to problematize the notion of biopolitics from a number of aspects that are often obliterated. However, I will not dedicate myself to delve into each of these dimensions. This is a preliminary work which opens lines of inquiry, questions for further development, guided by certain research lines inaugurated by Jacques Derrida (whose inclusion in the bio-political debate is often marginal). These questions can be summarized in four aspects: the boundary between life and death, the purity of biological life, human lives against non-human lives and living beings against non-living beings.
