Abstract
This work seeks to analyze the theoretical–practical experience of a net of intellectuals that in the Chile of the decade ’60, took the responsibility to follow from the theory a process of political–social transformation led by the UP “Unidad Popular”. The analysis is based on the work of theoretical recurrences and conceptual op erations of an intellectual exercise that seeked to lay the foundations of what was known as the construction of a Chilean socialist way . In this sense, the appeal to a marxist humanism, the historicist emphasis of the reading of Marx, as well as the definition of Marxism as praxis philosophy is the way in which today we can recognize a political thought articulated by the philosophers and intellectuals of the above mentioned decade. We will see this thought developed in the work of one of its thinkers, professor Sergio Vuskovic Rojo.
