Abstract

The following work addresses the matter of the Memories of the Coup starting from certain conceptual distinctions regarding the function of memory. Considering some memories of that ferocious time, it refers to the individual effect, no doubt, of them, thus adding to the substance of this article the interpretation of the symbolic influence of this period on culture. Taking into account the coincidence of the occurrence of the Dictatorship with the transition from Modernism to Post Modernism, this article puts forward radical changes in the field of the symbolic reflecting the dictatorship as a violent value hypertrophy of certain features of Modernism.
