Abstract

The following essay analyses 1949’s Constitutional Reform in Argentina beginning with the asumend roll of a political actor, non simpatizar, the most important newspaper of that time: The morning newspaper “La Prensa”. By means of reconstructing the setting that allowed the reelection of the president Perón and using the tools provided by the conceptual history of ideas, the electoral campaign, the voting, counting of votes and the process of reform of the Carta Magna are studied order to understand the interests and the contex that shaped Argentina’s political structure in the second half of the XX century.
